Two gunman attacked a Chabad of Bondi event on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. kiling 11, including Chabad Rabbi Eli Schlanger in a terrorist attack.
The Chanukah by Sea event began at 5.30 pm, and was interrupted by the sound of gunfire at 6.45 pm. Thousands of people who attended the event fled, as terrorists fired at the crowd.
When darkness attacks us, Chanukah teaches us to fight back with light, as a little bit of light dispels a lot of darkness. Let's add more light in honor of those murdered in Sydney.
